Village Tradition

To build a house in the village of Moke Mofumo, one must adhere to the village customs. It's a simple tradition of going to the shrine and making an offering.

Side Quest Requirements

Main Quest: “The Forest and the Ruins” must be completed.

Side Quest Trigger Condition

After completing “The Forest and the Ruins”, speak with Kukka at the construction shop in southern Moke-Mofmo.

1. Find the altar at the Shrine of the Night Hare.

Enter the Resolci Cave in Hemilie Forest 2, located north of the village. Go left and descend the ladder to reach Moon Rabbit Shrine B1F-1.
Head left again and enter the door to B1F-2.

• The prison here is for a mini-event and unrelated to the quest itself.
• In the storage room next door, if you had chosen “Talk to her” when encountering the timid orc Tina on Pomier Road, an event will occur (also unrelated to the quest).

Within the shrine, a goblin that runs away with an item may randomly appear. You must defeat it and obtain the dropped item.

When the goblin appears, a message will trigger upon entering a room—this is your cue to chase it down.
(Even if you fail to catch it, it will reappear later, so you can continue.)

Defeating the goblin yields the Crest of the Moon Rabbit (Egg-shaped). Don’t forget to pick it up.

• On the far left of B1F-2 is the staircase to B2F-1
• On the far right, descend the stairs back to B1F-1 to find a chest with the Moon Rabbit Shrine Map, and flip the switch to open the prison gate.

Return to B2F-1, climb the narrow path to B1F-3, and open a chest to get the Moon Rabbit Key.

Return to B2F-1, then take the left staircase to B1F-4.
Head north into the Storage Room. Once inside, the exit is blocked and a battle begins:

• First wave: 3 Myconids
• Second wave: 2 Giant Slimes

After defeating all enemies, the door will unlock. Open the chest to obtain the Crest of the Moon Rabbit (Diamond-shaped).

Proceed through B1F-1 → B1F-3 → B2F-2 and open the cell door.
Grab the Healing Potion from the chest and flip the switch beside it.

Next, go from B1F-2 → B2F-1 and enter the B2F Ore Vein through the wooden door on the right.

At the end, open the chest to obtain the Crest of the Moon Rabbit (Heart-shaped).

Blue ore objects in the mine can sometimes drop rare Mythril Ore, which may be needed later. Break them if you see them, but you don’t need to grind for it here.

Once you’ve collected all three crests, proceed through B2F-1 → B1F-4 → B2F-2.
Examine the pedestal and insert the crests in the following order:

• Left: Diamond-shaped
• Middle: Egg-shaped
• Right: Heart-shaped

Placing the wrong crest will summon 3 Myconids, so be careful.

Once all crests are set, the door will open. Proceed forward and examine the altar.

2. Report to Kukka

Use the ladder on the left in the altar room to enter the Fis River Hideout.
An orc will become hostile—be sure to defeat it now.

If left alone, the orc will later block passage from Fis River Interior, interfering with your return to the shrine.

Return to Moke-Mofmo and report back to Kukka.

3. Offer a Prayer at the Altar

Head back to the Moon Rabbit Shrine—either from the Hideout or Resolci Cave (either route is fine).

The hideout path is more straightforward if you're worried about getting lost.

In B1F-4, you’ll find Kukka under attack. Defeat 2 Goblins and 2 Myconids to help her.

Return to the altar room and speak with Kukka, which will trigger a battle against 2 Giant Myconids.

Defeat both to clear the side quest “Village Tradition.”
