The Shadow Brigade!

The Shadow Brigade is a band of thieves formed by dissatisfied members of the Dark Elf tribe. However, they have severely tarnished the name of the Dark Elves, making them an unbearable nuisance! The Shadow Brigade must be eradicated!

Side Quest Prerequisite

Must have cleared the side quest "Past Feuds".

Side Quest Activation Condition

After clearing "Past Feuds", enter the Residential Area of Elphonor to trigger the quest.

1. Suppress the Shadow Brigade in the Elphonoir

Approach the quarreling Dark Elves to trigger a battle against 2 Blackshroud members. Defeat them.

2. Talk to Delphine

Enter the Chief’s Room on the 2nd floor of the Chieftain’s House, and speak with Delphine.

3-1. Suppress the Shadow Brigade in Moke Mofmo

Go to Fys River - Riverside Plaza (Back) and defeat 3 Blackshroud members.

3-2. Suppress the Shadow Brigade in Elphonia

Go to Pomier Road - Plaza and defeat 3 Blackshroud members.

Pick up the dropped item "Blackshroud Belongings".

3-3. Help the severely injured Elf

Talk to Suzette and give her 1 Healing Potion and 3 Hard Wood.

4. Report to Delphine

Return to the Chief’s Room in Elphonor and talk to Delphine.

5. Search for the lost item of the Beastfolk tribe

Go back to Fys River - Riverside Plaza (Back) and defeat 3 more Blackshroud members.

6. Report to Delphine

Return once again to the Chief’s Room in Elphonor and speak with Delphine.

7. Locate and destroy the Shadow Brigade’s hideout

Go to Noto River - Bliya Pond → Bliya Pond - Outskirts Plaza, and enter the Stone Building at Bliya Pond - Outskirts.

Examine the cage door to open it.

Climb down the ladder to enter the Blackshroud Hideout, which triggers a boss fight.

Defeat all 5 Blackshroud members.

Break the crates and pots on both ends of the room—some contain hearts to recover HP.

8. Talk to Delphine

Return to Delphine in the Chief’s Room in Elphonor.

You will receive the "Blueprint for Transport Device", and building within the Residential Area becomes unlocked.

The side quest "What a Nuisance! The Blackshroud Gang!" is now complete.

After clearing the quest, you can invite Suzette, Blanche, and Delphine, who are in the Chief’s Room, to your built house.
