Went to look for Ninette from the workshop who hasn't returned from her outing, only to find her collapsed, having lost her tool...

Side Quest Requirements

Main Quest: “The Beginning” must be completed.

Side Quest Trigger

Triggered by talking to Gislet inside the Elphonia Shop.

1. Search for hints on where Ninette went.

Investigate the "Note" on the left side of the Elphonia Shop.

Go from Elphonia Back Alley to the Fleur Plains, where you'll battle 3 slimes.

After defeating them, a Hammer will drop—pick it up.

2. Show the Hammer to Gislet

Return to the Elphonia Shop and speak to Gislet.

3. Search for Ninette in Semans Forest Path.

Go south from Fairy Path to the Semans Forest Path. Defeat 2 slimes that appear.

4. Take Ninette to the shop.

Pick up Ninette and carry her back into the Elphonia Shop.

5-1. Obtain a magical hammer in a forbidden area.

Head to the Semans Forest Path and enter Elphonia Outskirts - Forbidden Zone via the door at the back.

A dialogue event will trigger when you step into the poison swamp.

5-2. Search for a way to neutralize the poison swamp.

Return to the Elphonia Shop and talk to Ninette. You’ll receive one Antitoxin Potion.

If you use the Antitoxin Potion and return from the Forbidden Zone without finding the Magic Hammer, and have no more potions left, speaking to Ninette again will grant you another.

You can exploit this stacking mechanic—use an Antitoxin Potion in front of Ninette, speak to her again to receive another, use it, repeat this around 5 times to stack the effect and make exploring the Forbidden Zone easier.

Enter the Forbidden Zone quickly before the potion’s effect wears off.

There are 4 Forbidden Keys and 4 locked chests on the map.

The keys are universal—any key opens any chest.

Chest 1: Magic Hammer
Chest 2: Miser's Amulet
Chest 3: High-Quality Hard Wood
Chest 4: Shiny Ore

Once you obtain the Magic Hammer, you can proceed with the side quest.

6. Deliver the magical hammer to Ninette.

Return to the Elphonia Shop and talk to Ninette to complete the side quest:

“Valuable Magic Work Tool” (side quest complete).

Reward/Effects: Completing this quest unlocks the Antitoxin Potion recipe, allowing it to be purchased or synthesized.
Ninette will also permanently remain in the Elphonia Shop, allowing you to craft weapons and armor there as a workshop.
